BRAND ACTIVATION MANAGER

An opportunity has arisen for a talented individual to join the marketing team in Central Europe as a Brand Activation Manager, being based in Prague. The incumbent is responsible for driving share, volume and profit results in accordance with the Activation Plan as well as taking the lead in adaptation and implementation of local/regional projects and processes assigned by the Marketing Manager.
Náplň práce
•Assesses and analyses the day-to-day business performance and creates & executes plans to counter adverse situations in order that monthly, quarterly and annual operating profit it delivered to target for specified brands/variants
•Develops an annual Brand Operating Plan which reflects European Brand Strategy & local category strategy in order to achieve agreed commercial and brand KPIs
•Recommends the addition or removal of any region-specific SKUs in order to achieve business goals
•Monitors and authorizes the effective reduction of obsolete stock, taking all necessary steps to rectify any failure to eliminate on a timely basis
•Recommends pricing for assigned brands in order that they are competitive in the market place and profitable to the company
•Recommends the allocation and timing of A&CP activity, within defined parameters for assigned brands
•Proactively unearths current customer, insights and evaluates brand/competitor performance, for their assigned brands
•Uses category drivers as the context for all brand-related actions and influences the Central Marketing team by actively referring to the drivers
•Analyses Market Data (Nielsen) to evaluate and change promotional and portfolio strategy – strong analytical skills required
•Ensures that a situation analysis, for the assigned brand, is completed and used within the brand planning process and communicates learning plan requirements
•Strongly cooperates with the sales team preparing Key Account specific activities
•Cooperation with wider regional and European teams

Skills and Expertise
Požadavky
Education
•Minimum Bachelors’ degree
Experience
•3 - 4 years experience in marketing, preferably trade marketing
•FMCG experience, preferably within cosmetics, drogerie
•Nielson data analysis
•Understanding of sales, finance and category management
Skills/Competencies/Attributes
•Excellent English is a must
•Ability to work independently
•Strong analytical thinking
•Strong communication, presentation and organizational skills
